You should consider an ENT consultation if symptoms continue, keep coming back, affect sleep or hearing, or disturb daily life.

Symptoms that may need ENT evaluation

• Ear pain, ear discharge, blocked ear, or reduced hearing
• Repeated sinus infection, nasal blockage, or facial pressure
• Persistent throat pain, tonsil symptoms, or difficulty swallowing
• Hoarseness or voice change lasting more than a few days
• Dizziness or spinning sensation that may be related to the inner ear
• Snoring, mouth breathing, or recurrent cold in children

When to seek urgent help

Sudden hearing loss, severe breathing difficulty, bleeding, severe dizziness, or high fever with worsening symptoms should be treated as urgent.
